This job is mainly about collecting orders and delivering them to the customers. There are some specific responsibilities that the drivers must take up:
Drivers must pick up the items/food and deliver it to the customers using their vehicles. They must make purchases on behalf of the customer when the Postmates customer service representatives lack to complete the purchase remotely. Must deliver items/food as requested by the customer, even in varying conditions.
Postmates drivers can have a flexible schedule. There are no fixed hours. All they must do is make themselves available on the Postmates app. Using the app, they must receive orders and details of the order and try to fulfill the same. Postmates is available 24/7. The workers get a prepaid credit card from the company to pay for the ordered items.

Does Postmates hire felons?
Postmates have a strict policy which is noticeable from the procedure it follows. Postmates hires a third-party company for a background check. This policy is also relevant if the employed person commits a felony when they are a functioning employee at Postmates. Misdemeanors like DUIs, hit and run, property damage resulting from operating a motor vehicle, and other crimes involving a motor vehicle. If any employee commits a misdemeanor, then they may face redundancy. Many other service-providing companies give second chances to their drivers, but Postmates does not consider second chances as an option.
Does Postmates hire someone who has committed DUI?
Postmates does not hire someone who has had a history of DUI, which could mean that if Postmates found anything of the following on your driving record:

Postmates is still a different app and acts independently, but recently it was merged with Uber Eats, which could develop in some changes in its functioning. Well, for the consumers, both these apps are different, but the drivers must link their Postmates account to Uber as well. Postmates, in the future, could lead to a lenient system of hiring employees at Postmates, but it is still hard to say whether one will be employed if they have committed a felony or DUI.
